SEND Teacher (Special Education Needs)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside our current SENCo and provide support to a small class of 8 children with Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plans, primarily focusing on autism. This role is crucial in helping these children unlock their full potential and achieve their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students with EHC plans.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with our team of experienced SEN Teaching Assistants (TAs).
• Provide regular feedback and support to the students and their families.
• Monitor and track the progress of each child and adapt teaching strategies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly autism.
• Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Hold a DBS or apply for one
