- 02They vary, just like anywhere. The biggest difference in London schools though is the multiculturalism. This can have its challenges, but is also an exciting and beneficial experience for personal and professional development. The thing to remember is that we will not send you anywhere we have not been ourselves and will not send you anywhere we don’t think you’ll suit.

Many people ‘doss’ with friends to begin with, which is a great option, but don’t outstay your welcome! If you don’t know anyone, there are plenty of hostels to choose from. BANK ACCOUNT This can sometimes be tricky, but luckily we have a relationship with NatWest Bank and can assist

- 05Most schools in the UK hire staff through teaching agencies, so it’s the best way to guarantee yourself work!
- 06We think it can be a good idea to do some casual supply teaching work when you first start teaching in London. That way you can get a feel for different areas, age groups and schools, and hence make better decisions when taking on full-time positions. However, there are certain times of the year when casual supply teaching work is scarce and its worth considering jumping straight into a position for more financial security.
